Respondus LockDown Browser is an online proctoring software that is used in the education field to monitor students while they take tests. A free trial is available.Both students and teachers will need to download the app to use the program to take exams online and to review test results. Double click the LockDown Browser Icon on your desktop. Log into Canvas from the LockDown Browser Screen. Find the quiz that is due and click on it. Click on Take the Quiz. When you have completed the quiz, log out of Canvas, and exit the LockDown Browser. Can I take a quiz and use LockDown Browser on my iPad.

LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the exam environment within specific learning and assessment systems. When LockDown Browser is used during an online exam, you are unable to go to other URLs, switch applications, take screenshots, copy questions or print. It essentially locks you into the exam until it’s submitted for grading.
Important: This application can only be used with certain learning systems and ONLY if your instructor has enabled the use of the “iPad edition” of LockDown Browser for the exam. If your instructor hasn’t enabled the use of the iPad edition of LockDown Browser, this application will NOT be of use to you.
While LockDown Browser isn’t the most exciting app available, it does make online assessments possible. And, hey, you can download it for free.
This is NOT a limited-feature version and there are NO advertisements of any type.
